I was sorting the multitude of recipes that keeps piling up around my kitchen. I’m sort of a recipe fanatic. A hoarder really. I have so much paper in my kitchen. Please do not light a fire. It would go quickly. And just now, I found another pile as I was looking for the other recipe that is better for taco seasoning. And in yet another pile, unsorted, there it was!
So here’s a couple of fun recipes I found that you need. Especially if you like Mexican food, or if you have kids. These are not dependent on each other. I use this recipe for taco seasoning a lot. It’s super yummy.
Better than store bought Taco Seasoning Mix:
1 tbsp minced dried onions
2 tsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp cumin
1/2 to 1 tsp cayenne pepper or hot paprika
1 tbsp minced dried onions
2 tsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp cumin
1/2 to 1 tsp cayenne pepper or hot paprika
Stir to blend. Makes the equivalent of 1 1/4 oz package of taco seasoning. Tweak to your liking!
Play Doh
1 cup flour
2 tsp cream of tarter

1 cup water with food coloring in it.
1 cup flour
